FIU Gallery Opening

Hey you Southern Floridians! If you have some time and are looking for something to do, you can always check out the gallery at Florida International University (FIU.) I was invited to the opening gala by my wonderful sister, Courtney Bleier, who was lucky enough to be one of the art students chosen to display their painting. Courtney has been an artist for her whole life and she has been able to study with some of the best teachers out there. She is incredibly talented and I am certainly proud of her! Her painting had to be from a photograph that she took at Vizcaya Museum, here in Miami. All of the artists there were fabulous and it's a really nice collection of romantic outdoor scenes. Check out some of the pictures from the gala ;) The paintings are up at the GC Art Gallery at the FIU Modesto Modique campus until September 29.
