Did a fun photoshoot with my sister for some of my new White Bear sunglasses. These are so much fun for summer festivals or BBQ's. We wore some to a concert last week and EVERYONE was looking at us and kept asking where we got them. It was awesome! Which one is your fav?

my nails
Hi. Remember me? I'll be making a comeback, right about NOW.
What do you think of my nails this week? They remind me of Christmas in July hahah. All silvery and sparkly. So much fun. And they are nail polishes from the $1 store! I'm telling you, those cheap ones most of the time stay on longer and look better. Just my opinion ;)
What do you think? Check out one of my newest rings from White Bear ! I really love this one! Check me out.

The Wynwood Squat
Sorry for the lack of updates! I've been so busy working events and getting my jewelry ready for my FIRST show! I sold my White Bear jewelry at the Wynwood Squat here in Miami's Wynwood Art Walk this past Saturday. The art walk is an amazing monthly event where all the galleries and restaurants open their doors to thousands of people and come together for what some would call, a big ol' party. Many serve free drinks and niblets and have DJ's and other special events. Who doesn't like to look at beautiful art work, go shopping and party all at the same time!? To me, it sounds like the perfect evening.
So I sold my jewelry at the grand opening of one of the venues. The turnout wasn't what we all had hoped, since it was a little off the beaten path...but it was ok. For the amount of people there I think I sold quite well! I made my money back at least lol. But I was SO nervous beforehand since I have never sold in front of actual people before.
Selling online is easy. Someone doesn't like my work? Well, I never have to know about it. This was the first time I was going to be judged, and know about it. But I have to say...it went really well. Everyone loved my stuff and had the sweetest things to say. PHEW! My sister came out to help me set up and keep my company. Couldn't of done it without her. It was great to have a support system for my first time. Also, my booth neighbor, Colleen, was a complete sweetheart and had some amazing bags, to boot! Check them out here! So great exposure, an awesome neighbor, a great learning experience and just a great time overall...well....Here's to another awesome event!

Sorry about the terrible quality :( But this is the overview of the booths!

My sister Courtney came to help me out! <3
My number 1 fan! She and her friend kept coming back to my booth and were in love with everything, she bought the earrings she is wearing and her friend, a necklace. It was the cutest thing I have ever seen...and was totally humbling. My first sales at an event to 7 year olds? Priceless. They were SO happy.

White Bear Photoshoot
A few days ago my company, White Bear, did a photoshoot. We shot on the bay here in Miami and boy, was that sunset a gorgeous backdrop! Andy Weiss was the photographer and my sister, funny enough, was our model. They both did an amazing job. Check out some pictures of the shoot! Everything is available at my shop on Etsy.

What's In My Closet Wednesday's
I wasn't able to log into my blog for a few days...talk about annoying! Good job blogger. Thanks.
So I've come up with a few ideas. I like the sound of "What's In My Closet Wednesday's." People are always asking me about my clothes, so why not show em off a bit. I had to stop into Ross yesterday, and actually came across a few cute things. I'm such a bargain shopper, so why not? This company called "Bebop" is totally affordable and has some really great, trendy dresses available in many different department stores.
I found this fun black and red color blocking dress that is so unique! It is surprisingly flattering on my bigger frame. $15.00! With a pair of strappy black heels and sparkly, big accessories you can't go wrong.
Also, I am SERIOUSLY in love with one of my own, new creations. I know this is in some ways shameless plugging, so I apologize...but I would buy this ring if I saw it on the street! It's available at my shop on Etsy.com. Purple and mint are so in right now, and it just happens to have been my favorite color combo since I was a little girl! To die for! They are colors that really can go all year around, especially down here in Miami :) Other color combo's I am really into right now are mint and cobalt (as seen below) and coral and grey. Bright colors are everywhere this summer and all I have to say is it's about darn time!

...feels like the very first time
So I've been trying to figure out what my first real blog post should be about. I was thinking maybe I should introduce myself a little bit. Or maybe talk about fashion or an awesome recipe or who knows! I think I will just start off by saying how excited I am to finally give this blog thing a real go. Over the years I've had countless journals, blogs that I've started and never used, and really, more than enough spoken words to fill an endless book.
Who is Lindsay? ...I'm a little bit of everything. I'm an extremely opinionated person, which I happen to like! But I am also a free-spirit and will really go along with anything. I guess that's where I got the name for my blog, The Royal Bohemian. One of my nicknames is "Princess." Mostly because I seriously have convinced myself that I was royalty in another life. I'm obsessed over vintage, royalty, lace. I also love the richer aspects in life, but am not a snob about it. All things girly and cutesy are amazing in my eyes. Royal.
Bohemian. My boyfriend, John, always makes fun of my "hippie" feet. No matter how many times a day I clean them, the bottoms are black. I'm almost always in flip flops, since I live on the beach! I'm a total beach bum and peace and love type of girl. A true friend that would do anything for anyone. My parents were once hippies so I guess it's in my blood!
In a fashion sense, I'm all about color and patterns. Everything bright and fun is right up my alley. I like to think of myself as a trendsetter...you know, not to blow my own horn or anything! :) I have a knack for wearing things that will be popular six months in the future. Always have. I also kind of have a shopping problem. My wardrobe has always been so excessive that I used to invite my close girlfriends over to do some "spring cleaning." As my very dear friend, Miss Kim Kalish of New York City used to say, "It's time to go shopping in Lindsay's closet, best store in town!"
I started my own jewelry company last year, White Bear. I mostly sell online and in a boutique in NYC. Please do check it out! I'm a creative person, thats to say the least. This blog will be a creative outlit for me, for sure. I can't wait to get it going!
Thanks for reading and check back soon for some fun stuff!
